Preston McBride

It's been a long time since I've updated, so it all goes. Preston will be 4 months on September 13, 2008. He is smiling, talking, almost rolling, and being our cute little man. I had him on May 13 and was induced. After 13 hours of labor he arrived healthy and strong. I had a bit of a rough time, but Tanner was there and helped me through it all. Preston did have jaundice, but a couple of days in the hospital under the bilirubin lights took care of that, but let me say that that was so stressful and hard for both Tan and me. It was like an emotional rollercoaster. Anyways, eversince he has been home we cherish every moment and are grateful that his only complication was jaundice and not anything else.

Tanner and I are both doing well. I am going to school full time and so Tanner is watching Preston for me. We are happy and enjoying have little Preston aka P-man.

Picture and Update

Here is me and Tanner on our anniversary Feb 15. It's one of my most recent pics pregnant! Yippee!! On our anniversary, we went out to lunch together and then Tanner had to go to work. Do you guys like Tanner's shirt? I got it for him for Christmas.

Currently I am 31 weeks along and doing great. I am getting nervous about the whole idea of delivery...but I'm told that is normal. Last night I woke up worried about Preston and hoping he wouldn't be breached or anything like that ...it's crazy I know!

Mom and Dad Blankenfeld bought us our travel system from Target which is the one we have, or rather I have been ooohing and awwing at ever since I got pregnant. We brought it home and opened the box and pulled out the carrier and I got emotional and told Tanner, "This is what we are going to bring Preston home in...!!!" It was so fun to get it.

Tanner and I have been like busy bees packing up our apartment and getting ready to move. It's hard because we just got our old apartment just how we liked it and now we have to move...oh well! That is what's happening in our lives. I'll post some pictures of the Denton snow days later!!

Stars Game

Two weekends ago, Tanner and I had the opportunity to go to a Dallas Stars Hockey game with my brother and sister in law. Originally, we were going to watch their new puppy Ranger for them so they could go, but their neighbor, who also has a new puppy offered them two more tickets. Holly and Andrew were hesitant because they did not know what they would do with Ranger, so the neighbor said he would watch Ranger and that the two puppies could play together. So, we really lucked out, instead of puppy sitting, we got to go to the STARS GAME!!! I was so ecstatic!!

Tanner and I were so excited to go. I had never been to a Stars game and it was something out of the ordinary for a Saturday night date!! We had so much fun!!! The Stars won and it was an amazing game. I have to say, I really like to keep up with the Stars now. Here are some pictures! TWU, the school that I attend, had sold tickets for students to go and the organization was supposed to meet at the Stars box and take pictures after the game. Only one guy was down there, so it was a good thing that we showed up so he had a decent picture to take back to TWU!!

Here we are in the Stars Box!!! Wow, I can't believe the real hockey players were here! I have to say, I would hate to sit here for a game, it's uncomfortable!

We were in the nosebleed section, but it was better than being super close, because it was easier to keep track of the game and where the puck was. The Stars were amazing!!!
